TARIEL
Tariel is the most commonly known name given to the world. It is also often referred to as the "mortal realm". Tariel is believed to stem from an ancient elven tongue, where it means "Our World". Currently there are six known continents, each with their own distinctive climates and cultures. The majority of these continents have yet to be fully explored, and thus explorers from Arganorh flock to the new worlds for fame and wealth.Dividing these continents are the Endless Seas, where many isles remain hosts and homes to the many island nations throughout Tariel.According to the cosmology, Tariel is surrounded by two rings; the Divide and the Higher Planes. Four distinctive planes also surround the mortal realm.The outer ring is known as the Higher Planes; where the gods are believed to reside. The central ring, known as the Divide, is a protective veil of magic weaved long ago by the gods to prevent mortals from reaching the Higher Planes. Due to its instability, it is also known as a crossroad which other worlds might use to travel to Tariel, and theoretically the other way around as well. The very inner ring is where the mortals thrive. Beyond these rings is the Dark Beyond; the remaining universe.The Nethers, also known as the Demon Worlds, consist of several distinctive realms where some are inhabited by demons, and others by celestials.The Plane of Shadow is a parallel world which shades and other creatures of shadow reside in. This plane is perceived to be mirrored in comparison to the Mortal Realm.Malendii's Dream was created by the goddess Malendii herself when she put the dragons to sleep. In recent times her Dreamworld has been besieged by nightmares.The Elemental Courts are the homes of the elemental servants that were banished long ago by the gods, yet still remain essential in maintaining the elemental balance of Tariel and its natural order.

ARGANORH
Arganorh is where modern civilization rules. Some of the most advanced kingdoms and nations have risen and fallen here, and some still stand to this day.Arganorh is not really a single continent, but two joined together. Norrhan sits in the north and Avanor in the south. Together these two continents are referred to as the 'Twin Continents.As well as being the home of Tariel's greatest nations, Arganorh is also where the majority of Tariel's races live. Society in Arganorh can be very multicultural, and various peoples from all over the world flock to the twin continents for reasons from trade to adventure, and peace to war.The twin continents are mostly dominated by Man, yet still, a few free states and kingdoms of elves, dwarves and orcs still exist here.
